Amy + Edward | An Old lystra Inn Wedding

The weather was absolutely perfect for Amy and Edward's May 2021 wedding at the Old Lystra Inn.
Surrounded by good friends, family, and a classically beautiful venue out in the rolling hills of Chapel Hill, Amy and Edward tied the knot in a sweet ceremony unique to them.
We loved their creative touches, like their bird and fossil decorations and a traditional Slovakian plate-breaking. That's where a plate is broken and the couple sweeps it up. Breaking a plate is meant to bring good luck, and sweeping it up together symbolizes the couple's teamwork in marriage.
As you'll see, Amy and Edward's love and respect for each other really shows. We enjoyed every minute!
